Complaint against the shipping company and others who raised their hands after ordering 51 containers of vitrified tiles.
A complaint has been registered in the Morbi CT B Division police station against persons including a businessman from Dubai who, with the help of a shipping company, repeatedly released the goods after ordering vitrified tiles worth more than 2.36 crores with the ceramic exporter of Morbi.
According to the details of the incident, Kapilbhai Kantilal Goria, a native of Gorkhijdia village living on Lilapar Canal Road in Morbi, filed a complaint at the CT B Division police station and declared that he was doing ceramic export business in Empire’s Building on Morbi-Maliya National Highway. On August 2023, the owner of the company, Mohammad Dudamke, residing in Dubai, contacted Pure Stone for Stone Fixing Company of Dubai to supply goods of vitrified tiles, along with Ramiz Rah Banne, manager of his Pure Stone for Stone Fixing Company – Al Salam Street, C-13, East 9-2, Said to deal with 3rd Floor, Abu Dhabi, Dubai.
After which the complainant Kapilbhai received the order to send the samples of vitrified tiles and the manager of Pure Stone for Stone Fixing Company to send the goods and for all the work to the owner of the company named Global Cargo Logistics Pvt Ltd of India. Contacting No- 181, Thambu Chetty Street Manadi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kapilbhai along with the owners of the cargo company sent two separate consignments filled with a total of 51 containers and sent the vitrified tiles to Dubai.
However, with the intention of deceiving Morbi’s Kapilbhai, the Dubai party and the cargo owners conspired without Kapilbhai’s knowledge to tamper with the procedure of the sender and receiver and after the quantity of tiles reached Dubai, they repeatedly released all the goods that Kapilbhai had gone to Dubai and asked for payment. After the parties raised their hands, the police filed a complaint in the Morbi CT B Division police station against the businessmen of Dubai and Chennai and started investigation against all those who opened up to the investigation.
