He further adds that, while the ceramic industry is currently struggling, if natural gas is brought under GST, the industry will benefit and if fuel becomes cheaper, Morbi’s ceramic industry can go straight from second to number one in the world. said.

Meanwhile, Mukeshbhai Kundaria added that the ceramic industry is currently facing difficulties as per the provision of 43BH of Income Tax by the Central Government, the provision of 33% is applicable due to the clause that the ceramic industry has to sell the goods on credit of 120 days so that this clause should be abolished. Or demanded that the ceramic industry should be given the benefit of this clause like the MSME industry. At the same time, 60 per cent of the remaining expenditure in ceramic industries goes to gas, coal and electricity, if there is relief in the matter of fuel, then the ceramic industry of Morbi can still reach the top level in the crushed world, he reiterated to the government to satisfy the demand in a positive direction.
